How did you find your shoot for Drama ( maybe describe how you felt )?
A wonderful whirlwind. It was such a creative environment that felt like a real collaboration. Ram Shergill has such a strong point-of-view and it was a treat to get swept up in the world he was creating. I felt like I’d stepped back in time to a sixties soiree!
What does the word Drama mean to you?
Drama means heart… giving your heart in its entirety to reveal deeper truths about human existence.
Who (past, present, future) inspires you?
William Shakespeare, Maggie Gyllenhaal, my sister Jana Winternitz.
If you had an Ideal role, what would it be?
Playing Eleanora Duse in a biopic of her life.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m playing Girl in ‘ONCE’ opposite Ronan Keating in London’s West End.
What would you like to work on?
I’d love to do a period TV drama. There are so many great ones at the moment… I’m really enjoying Wolf Hall.
What is your Favorite film?
Casablanca
If there were a soundtrack to your life, what would it be?
Sarah Mclachlan, Mirrorball and maybe a bit of emo from my high school years.
If you were an animal what would you be? And why?
A burmese cat. I love how inquisitive and elegant they are. The lounging about seems great as well.
If you had a chance to be anywhere else in the world right now, where would it be?
It would have to be the Maldives. I’ve been trying to plan a trip for years now…
